Some Differences.......
I have a proven track record helping students gain admission to the full range of colleges and universities from Top 25 private and publics, the UC system, large public flagships, small liberal arts colleges, international universities and more specialized institutions.
I have experience working with a broad range of majors: Engineering, Computer/Data Science, Pre- med, Business, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities.
I take only a small number of students every year so I ensure we delve more deeply into the student's background and ensure that we develop an application strategy that focuses on their individual strengths.
I work with all kinds of students: the ivy bound, those with learning differences. athletes, dancers, artists
I keep it calm and in perspective. College is important but it is not life or death. A sense of humor is always important.
I specialize in bringing out each student's unique talents and values and offer in depth one on one support for essay writing and all aspects of the application.

Transfers
Sometimes the college experience does not end up being what is expected or more often students needs and aspirations change between application and the end of first semester freshman year. In fact transfers are becoming more common with approximately one third of students transferring colleges every year.
The transfer process is much more customized with requirements and standards varying widely between colleges.
I assist students to reflect on their goals, help them identify likely schools and then help them prepare a thoughtful targeted application.
